Friday Briefs: Philadelphia Eagles

It's Friday. YAY. I'd like to give a shoutout to my mother, wish her a happy birthday. On with the preview.

The Eagles had a rollercoaster of a ride last season, starting strong, struggling midseason after losing QB Donovan McNabb, and riding to the division on the back of Jeff Garcia.

Things are much different though, the Eagles don't have Garcia, so the heat is now on McNabb to not only stay healthy, but to get the Eagles back to the playoffs.

The Eagles finished 2006, with a 10-6 record, and the NFC East title. They lost to the Saints in the Divisional round.

The team drafted QB Kevin Kolb out of Houston, with their first pick in the draft, which was in the second round. The Eagles will face the Bears, the Saints and the Patriots.

Time for some burning Yearbook Style questions:
  1. Donovan McNabb will star in: Three more Chunky Soup Commercials
  2. Player(s) most likely to be booed by Philly fans: Tony Romo and Terrell Owens (Maybe Santa Claus)
  3. Brian Westbrook is the next: Roger Craig (It's a stretch, I know)
  4. Leading receiver for team will be: Brian Westbrook
  5. Leading rusher will be: Brian Westbrook
  6. Andy Reid will: Never shave his moustache, what would be the point
  7. Eagle fans everywhere will: Boo until their hearts content
  8. Top three things Eagles fans will boo at this season: 1. McNabb's performance. 2. TO. 3. Tony Romo and maybe Carrie Underwood
  9. Kiss song that best describes the team: I Want You
  10. In 2007, the Eagles will: Go 12-4, winning the division

See everybody on Monday
