Friday Briefs: San Diego SUPER CHARGERS

This Friday Briefs is dedicated to those who were on the I-35 W Bridge, in Minneapolis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who perished on Wednesday night. God speed to all. We will do a profile of the Vikings on Monday in their honor.

I wanted to get that out of the way, but for now, on with the NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: The San Diego SUPER CHARGERS edition.

The Chargers finished first in the AFC West, going 14-2 and clinching the best record in the NFL. They lost in the divisional round to the New England Patriots.

This season, the Chargers brought in 49ers Offensive Cooridinator, Norv Turner, as Head Coach.

They play the Bears, the Patriots, the Colts and the Titans. They drafted WR Craig Davis out of LSU in the first round.

Let's do some burning questions (Yearbook Style):
  1. Norv Turner will run: The team into the ground within the next three years
  2. LaDainian Tomlinson will score: 20 touchdowns
  3. Phillip Rivers will throw: 19 touchdowns
  4. Shawne Merrimen's Light's Out dance: Will get incredibly old as the season progresses
  5. The newest craze will be: Antonio Gates shooting a three over the goal post
  6. The first thought that comes to the mind when hearing the San Diego SUPER CHARGERS song: Hey the CIA found a new interrogation tool
  7. The Kiss song that best describes the team: Hard Luck Woman
  8. In 2007, the Chargers will: Miss the playoffs, going 8-8

I'll see you guys on Monday, have a tee-riffic weekend.

Nos
