The Mondays: The Browns and Panthers finally win a game

Cleveland Browns 6 - Buffalo Bills 3- Who would have thought that Billy Cundiff and Rian Lindell would have been the leading scorers today...Then again, who would have thought that Derek Anderson could have a 2-for-17 passing day? Sadly the truth is, there are no winners.

Carolina Panthers 20 - Washington Redskins 17- The Redskins might be the biggest headscratcher in the NFL. They lost to the Lions and now the Panthers. This post from DC Sports Bog should say it all about Jim Zorn and how he's viewed in the media right now.

Cincinnati Bengals 17 - Baltimore Ravens 14- So the Bengals are in first place in the AFC North. I said they'd go 5-11. They're now 4-1 and they get Houston at home this upcoming week. Guess who's eating his words...? In case you didn't figure out, yeah I mean me. The Bengals have played terrific football this season. There's no reason why the Bengals can't make a statement and get to the playoffs.

Seattle Seahawks 41 - Jacksonville Jaguars 0- Great day for Matt Hasselbeck as he threw four touchdown passes.

Dallas Cowboys 26 - Kansas City (Dallas Texans) Chiefs 20- ROMO ALERT: Our namesake threw for 351 yards and two touchdowns. Oh and 250 of those yards belong to Miles Austin. He scored two touchdowns, including the game winner in overtime.

Denver Broncos 20 - New England Patriots 17- Looks like Josh McDaniels isn't getting a Christmas card from Bill Belichick anytime soon. More importantly, the Broncos, led by Kyle Orton, are 5-0. Not since the '98 season have the Broncos started 5-0.

SUNDAY NIGHT RECAP: Indianapolis Colts 31 - Tennessee Titans 9- So, umm, the Titans don't look very good. They're 0-5 and face New England this week. Oh and you don't want to face Bill Belichick after a loss. The Titans could go 0-6 heading into the bye week. The odds just aren't good in Tennessee.

MONDAY NIGHT PREDICTION: Miami over New York Jets

Enjoy your Monday!

NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: Seattle Seahawks

There's a new sheriff in the town of Seattle and his name is Jim Mora, the junior edition. Mora will be taking over for Mike Holmgren, who held down the fort for 10 seasons.

Unfortunately for Holmgren, his final season in Seattle wasn't a magical ending. The Seahawks finished 4-12, their worst mark in the Holmgren era. Despite the 2008 season, Holmgren has won more games than any other coach in Seahawks history. Yes that means more games than Chuck Knox.

Mora has big shoes to fill. Holmgren made Seattle relevant in an often ignored NFC West. He led the team to six playoff berths in 10 seasons and got the Seahawks to a Super Bowl.

Holmgren turned Seattle into a football town. Let's face it, Holmgren made the "12th Man" sexy again, outside the state of Texas.

Mora is taking on a team that has been decimated with injuries, most notably Matt Hasselbeck. The three time Pro Bowler started only seven games last season, due to injury.

If the Seahawks can stay healthy this season, they could potentially be a strong contender out of the NFC West. Let's not forget that Arizona went 9-7 to win the West. So at the very least, you can win nine games and still win the West. The question for Seattle is, can they do it?

Time for those burnin' questions:

Most Offensive Player: Matt Hasselbeck
Most Defensive Player: Lofa Tatupu
Best New Guy: Aaron Curry
Coolest Twitter Page: Nate Burleson
Team Song: MxPx- Top of the Charts
Coolest Names (Top 3): Lofa Tatupu, Grey Ruegamer, Marcus Trufant
Most Likely to Succeed: TJ Houshmandzadeh?
In 2009, the Seahawks will go: 8-8

Tomorrow, we preview the 49ers.

The Mondays: Falcons clinch spot in Wild Card

Atlanta Falcons 24 - Minnesota Vikings 17- Congratulations goes to the Falcons for clinching a berth in the NFC playoffs. This team has made the ultimate turnaround. The 2007 season was awful. Whether it was the Mike Vick trial or Bobby Petrino leaving for Arkansas, this team had a lot to overcome. Head coach Mike Smith has this team on the right track. With players like Michael Turner, John Abraham, Roddy White and rookie quarterback Matt Ryan, this team has a chance to be a force in the NFC for quite a few years.

Tennessee Titans 31 - Pittsburgh Steelers 14- This game should have been closer, but the Steelers had a terrible day with turnovers, particularly Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers quarterback was picked twice (one returned for a touchdown) and fumbled several times (losing the ball twice). The Titans are the top seed, the Steelers are the second seed. These teams are both very good, but neither in my opinion are a solid contender for the Super Bowl in this unpredictable AFC.

San Diego Chargers 41 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24- The Bucs chances are hurt by the loss on Sunday. The Chargers are still alive in the AFC West hunt. Here's why...

Buffalo Bills 30 - Denver Broncos 23- Two fourth quarter touchdowns by the Bills in the fourth quarter made the ultimate difference in the game. Now the Broncos find themselves with their backs against the wall. They face the Chargers this week to determine the AFC West champion. The Chargers are a game back. We're witnessing a collapse by the Broncos. They've had a chance to wrap up the division for a couple of weeks now and they still haven't done it. I'll be amazed if the Broncos beat the Chargers, because they are not playing like a playoff team. The Broncos have a lot of growing up to do.

Miami Dolphins 38 - Kansas City Chiefs 31- A valiant effort by the Chiefs in a freezing cold Arrowhead Stadium, but the Dolphins weren't about to have their playoff chances frozen. Chad Pennington had another three touchdown pass day for the Dolphins. Meanwhile, Tyler Thigpen threw for 320 yards in the Chiefs loss. The Dolphins now hold all the cards in the deck. They will face the Jets on Sunday in what could very well determine who wins the AFC East.

New England Patriots 47 - Arizona Cardinals 7- My brother said the Patriots would win by 40 before the game and he was right. Props to him.

Seattle Seahawks 13 - New York Jets 3-
Not a good loss for the Jets, but then again all losses aren't that great. It was indeed the final home game for Mike Holmgren as head coach of the Seahawks. It was snowy in Seattle. Whether or not Holmgren comes back, there's no denying how great his coaching career has been. If he comes back, hey great. If he doesn't come back, happy trails and I hope the next time we see him, it will be at his enshrinement in Canton. Hopefully, Holmgren can close out his coaching career in Seattle with a win.

SUNDAY NIGHT RECAP: New York Giants 34 - Carolina Panthers 28- Out of all the games played during week 16, this one had to be the best one. Believe me, there was a lot of great games played over the weekend. Both teams rushed for a combined 459 net yards. The Giants now have the top seed and homefield advantage in the NFC playoffs. Meanwhile, the Panthers need to beat the Saints on Sunday, or else they risk falling into the no.-5 seed in the NFC playoffs.

MONDAY NIGHT PICK: Oh come on, Bears over Packers! Do you really need to ask?

Enjoy your Monday (Unless you're getting snowed on or you're freezing like I am, or both)

Hump Day: The Loser Rankings- October 28, 2008

Ahh yes, we have now officially reached the halfway point of this 2008 NFL season. That said, here's a look at the top five worst teams in the NFL.

1. Detroit Lions- I believe that picture says it all. The Lions are just flat out awful this year. To make matters worse, Detroit's former mayor was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

2. Cincinnati Bengals- No Carson Palmer, not much of anything. The Bengals are preparing for the next season. The best they can do at this point is go .500. Be real though, do you think the Bengals can win eight straight games.

3. Kansas City Chiefs- They had a chance against the Jets last week, but sadly, they still somehow found a way to lose the game. On the bright side, Tyler Thigpen had a terrific game against the Jets.

4. San Francisco 49ers- It was a tough loss for Mike Singletary. The Niners have now lost five straight games. Is that a good enough reason for you?

5. St. Louis Rams/Seattle Seahawks- Would you believe that the NFC West is the worst division in pro football? Yeah I find it hard to believe as well.

Friday Briefs: Time to pick some games

It finally happened, for the first time this season I went 5-0 for the week. I really nailed those picks. I'm now 25-10 for the season, which means the season is at the halfway point. Time for some week 8 picks.

Baltimore over Oakland- This seems like an obvious win for the Ravens. They need this win to keep with the Steelers in the AFC North.

Jacksonville over Cleveland- The Browns are falling apart, but then again so are the Jags.

New York (Jets) over Cincinnati- The Bengals will keep losing until they decide to win.

San Francisco over Seattle- Good luck goes out to Mike Singletary as he makes his head coaching debut for the 49ers.

UPSET PICK: Tampa Bay over Dallas- No namesake, no win.

Hump Day: The Loser Rankings- October 22, 2008

Another week, another loser's rankings are here. You know the drill by now.

  1. Detroit Lions- So, it has been a couple of weeks since Matt Millen was carried out of Detroit on a pole. Yes, the Lions are still winless. Two more losses and the Lions are officially out of the NFC North playoff hunt.

  2. Cincinnati Bengals- So this team is continuing to fall apart. It's funny, but sad, tragic, yet amusing.

  3. Kansas City Chiefs- So the woes continue for the Chiefs. Things just don't look good for this franchise.

  4. Seattle Seahawks- I did not see this one coming. Honestly!

  5. Oakland Raiders- If they keep winning, they won't have to be on this list.

Friday Briefs: NFL Picks- Week 2

Last week was a rough way to start the 2008 season. My picks didn't pan out the way I thought they would. Never fear, this week should be much better.

Green Bay over Detroit- Detroit could very well start 0-2.

Indianapolis over Minnesota- Indy gets back on track.

Carolina over Chicago- I could see this game being close.

Seattle over San Francisco- Hey, least they're not traveling across the country.

UPSET PICK: Oakland over KC

Enjoy the weekend

NFL Preview Show Extravaganza: Seattle Seahawks

We finish out the NFC West today with our look at the defending division champs, the Seattle Seahawks.

The 2008 season will in fact be the final one for Mike Holmgren as the Seahawks head coach. Holmgren has spent nearly 10 years as apart of the Seahawks organization.

Fresh off his success with the Green Bay Packers, which included a win in Super Bowl XXXI, Holmgren left to join the Seahawks for the '99 season. Holmgren took over a team that hadn't made the playoffs in a decade.

With young quarterback Jon Kitna at the helm, Holmgren led the Seahawks to a first place tie in the AFC West and their first playoff berth since the 1988 season. The Seahawks would lose to the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round.

After joining the NFC for the 2002 season, the Seahawks would make the playoffs the very next season. Once again, the Seahawks would lose in the wild card round, this time to the Packers. Of course, not before this great moment in playoff history.

The 2004 season would be the first of four straight NFC West titles. In 2005, Holmgren would lead the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl in franchise history. The Seahawks would lose that game to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Last season, the Seahawks lost to the Packers in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.

Earlier this year, Holmgren announced that this season would be his final as the Seahawks head coach. Jim Mora Jr. is slated to take over the team after Holmgren is done.

Whether this is the final stop for Holmgren or not, you can't deny the fact that he's been one of the best coaches in the 90s and in this decade. He's made Brett Favre and Matt Hasselbeck into superstar quarterbacks. He's also worked with Joe Montana and Steve Young. Holmgren has worked with some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and he has left his mark on the league.

The Seahawks open up the season, going cross-country as they face the Buffalo Bills. At home, the Seahawks will face Green Bay, Washington and New England. On the road, the Seahawks will face Tampa Bay, Miami and New York (Giants).

Time for those burnin' question (yearbook style):
  • Will Matt Hasselbeck ever grow hair: No

  • Best option for Hasselbeck's head: Wig

  • Hasselbeck and his wig will throw for: 3400 yards

  • Leading rusher for Seahawks: Whoever stays healthy

  • Deion Branch will: Catch 100 balls (Yes, I said balls)

  • Olindo Mare field goal misses: 9

  • If Holmgren's moustache had a name, it would be: Steve

  • Coolest names (Top 3): Lofa Tatupu, Ryan Plackemeier, Jordan Babineaux

  • 80s song to best describe the team: Always on my mind- Pet Shop Boys

  • In 2008, the Seahawks will: Win the division, go 11-5
Enjoy the weekend (and the Olympics)

The Best of the Mondays: Week 2

So I'm doing week two of the Best of the Mondays. It is very exciting. I'm happy to do it. Oh, how it seemed to be so long ago. Matt Schaub was turning into a household name. The Giants started 0-2, GASP! So kick back, and enjoy.

  • Houston Texans defeated the Carolina Panthers, 34-21- How about Matt Schaub, two touchdown passes and 228 yards passing. How about Andre Johnson, seven catches, 120 yards and two touchdowns. This team might surprise a lot of people come playoff time. Their next test will come against Indy at home, do I smell an upset?- Well it's the Colts.

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints, 31-14- The Saints knocked me out of a Survival Pool. Thanks guys- Oh those Bucs! I'm never picking the Saints in a survival pool again.

  • Arizona Cardinals defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 23-20- This is a joke, right?- How strange is it to see the Seahawks lose?

  • Green Bay Packers destroyed the New York Giants, 35-14- I'm not a Brett Favre fan or a Packers fan, but Favre is certainly a winner- Don't worry, the re-match is better.

  • ROMO ALERT: Tony Romo threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins- Yep......

  • Monday Night Pick: Washington Redskins over Philadelphia Eagles- Yay!
See ya Wednesday

Friday Briefs: The 'Where Will Jason Taylor Go' Game

It's Friday and I don't have to go to school......For a week. Woo, a whole week off from school, only to return for summer school (my choice). With that, I'll also be taking a week off from the blog, barring any huge story breaking in the next week. So for my last post before I head home for the week, I thought I'd play a little game.

With the recent situation surround Jason Taylor and the Miami Dolphins, I figured what the hey; I'll generate some scenarios for where Jason Taylor could end up, in case he is traded or released before June 1.

So.....LET'S PLAY WHERE THE HELL WILL JASON TAYLOR GO......

Kansas City Chiefs

This move makes a lot of sense for the Chiefs. They traded away Jared Allen to the Vikings and need to fill the spot. Could you imagine Tamba Hali and Jason Taylor lining up on the ends with Glenn Dorsey at the defensive tackle spot. I'm getting all tingly just thinking about it. If the Chiefs can pull it off, that would be the biggest acquisition of the off-season.

Washington Redskins

This might be a stretch, but Dan Snyder tried to get Chad Johnson, do not think for two minutes that Snyder won't wheel and deal to try and get Taylor.

New Orleans Saints

This move would make sense for the Saints. They don't have much depth. They also have a lot of salary cap room. Taylor would give a huge boost to a struggling defense. In 2007, Charles Grant and Will Smith combined for a total of 9.5 sacks. Taylor recorded 11 sacks in 2007. I'm not saying it would be enough, but it's better than before.

Carolina Panthers

With the recent retirement of Mike Rucker, the Panthers are pinning their hopes and dreams on Tyler Brayton, who didn't start a game for Oakland in 2007, but still played 16 games. Brayton recorded only nine tackles on the season. Taylor would be a complement to fellow end, Julius Peppers. Peppers recorded a career low, 2.5 sacks in 2007. If Taylor comes to Carolina, it will be one less problem for John Fox to deal with.

Seattle Seahawks

This team is a top ten defense in the NFL. Could you imagine seeing Jason Taylor wearing a Seahawks uniform? It's flabbergasting! This team is stacked with an excellent defense from line, to secondary. Taylor could send the Seahawks to South Florida, come February.

That's all I have for now. Enjoy your weekend and Memorial Day.

Friday Briefs: More Scheduling

Happy Friday to all who like Fridays (which is everybody if I'm not mistaken). We continue to take another look at the 17 week season that is, NFL 2008 FUNKYFEST! I finally came up with a creative name to call this season. As usual, I have to go with "funk." I'm legally insane like that. Today, we will cover weeks nine and ten (Yay I don't have to spell out my numbers now!)

Week 9- Nov. 2 & 3

New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts- Believe it or not, these two teams could be undefeated by the time this game is played. Another clash between two marquee quarterbacks and their teams. The Brady-Manning debate will be revived, if only for another seaso.......I mean week- 8:15 PM ET on NBC

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks- Student against teacher as Andy Reid takes the Eagles to the Northwest to face his mentor Mike Holmgren once more- 4:15 PM ET on FOX

Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans- *NAMED QUARTERBACK* will take the Packers into Nashville to take on Vince Young and the Titans. This will be a good test for Young, who will be going up against a tough defense- 1 PM ET on FOX

Week 10- Thurs. Nov. 6, 9 & 10

Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns- The first NFL Network regular season game of the year that I will not be watching because of the cable package I have- 8:15 PM ET on NFL Network

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans- With another year under Gary Kubiak for the Texans offense, this game could be a large scoring game- 1 PM ET on CBS

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots- How many points will the Pats put up this time?- 1 PM ET on FOX

Enjoy the weekend folks!

How Wrong Am I? (The NFC Edition)

The NFL season is officially over. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DAMN IT WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Sorry folks, I'm good now. Since the season is over, it is time to do an entire recap on my picks for how each team team would do this season. Now we will play the game otherwise known as, HOW WRONG AM I? Today, the NFC edition.

NFC East (Early Season Predictions)

Philadelphia Eagles 12-4 (Division Winner)
New York Giants 9-7 (Wild Card)
Washington Redskins 8-8
Dallas Cowboys 7-9

NFC East (Final Results)

Dallas Cowboys 13-3 (Division Winner)
New York Giants 10-6 (Wild Card)
Washington Redskins (9-7)
Philadelphia Eagles 8-8

Analysis: I'm not entirely off-base here. My first and fourth place picks were wrong, but I'm not entirely wrong for the most part. Here are some burning questions I have for the NFC East, next year:

Can the Cowboys repeat their regular season success?

Will Jim Zorn being named coach help or hurt the Redskins?

Can the Giants win the division next year?

How will the Eagles improve their offense?

NFC South (Early Season Predictions)

New Orleans Saints 13-3 (Division Winner)
Carolina Panthers 8-8
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-9
Atlanta Falcons 4-12

NFC South (Final Results)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-7
Carolina Panthers 7-9
New Orleans Saints 7-9
Atlanta Falcons 4-12

Analysis: Hey, I nailed the Falcons record. Other than that, the other three were somewhat close. I didn't anticipate the Saints starting the season 0-4. I do have some questions for next year:

How much longer will Jon Gruden be in Tampa?

How much longer will John Fox be in Carolina?

Will Vinny Testaverde come back? (I say yes)

Will the Saints improve their defense in the offseason?

Will the Falcons win the NFC South, or will the last place chain break?

NFC North (Early Season Predictions)

Chicago Bears 11-5 (Division Winner)
Green Bay Packers 9-7
Minnesota Vikings 8-8
Detroit Lions 5-11

NFC North (Final Results)

Green Bay Packers 13-3 (Division Winner)
Minnesota Vikings 8-8
Detroit Lions 7-9
Chicago Bears 7-9

Analysis: Clearly, I was wrong about this division. The Bears fall although not surprising, still caught me off guard. I was right about the Vikings going 8-8 and I wouldn't be surprised to see them end up with the same record in 2008. Come on people, did you really think the Lions would win 10 games? Burnin for you questions:

Will the cheeseheads reign supreme in Tampa?

Will 2008 be the breakout year for Tarvaris Jackson? (If he starts)

Will Detroit go defense in the first round of the NFL Draft?

Who becomes the new Bears quarterback in 2008?

NFC West (Early Season Predictions)

San Francisco 49ers 10-6 (Division Winner)
St. Louis Rams 10-6 (Wild Card)
Seattle Seahawks 9-7
Arizona Cardinals 6-10

NFC West (Final Results)

Seattle Seahawks 10-6
Arizona Cardinals 8-8
San Francisco 49ers 5-11
St. Louis Rams 3-13

Analysis: What needs to be said? It was terrible. My worst picks. I can't say anymore. BURNING QUESTIONS...

Will 2008 be the year the Seahawks NOT win the division?

Will the Cardinals win 10 games?

Will the 49ers score a touchdown?

Will the Rams win?

That's all I have. I'll do the AFC tomorrow.

See ya

Friday Briefs: Making the Picks

I know you are probably wondering why I haven't been posting on the site as of lately. Well, I'm at home, where the dial up grows and my impatience wears on me. That being said, I will be heading down to Chicago on Sunday and will not be around to make my usual 'Mondays' post. You won't be seeing me do a recap for week 16. Don't worry, I have plenty of stuff planned for when I get back (or so I think).

Time for some picks.
  • Carolina Panthers over Dallas Cowboys
  • Jacksonville Jaguars over Oakland Raiders
  • Green Bay Packers over Chicago Bears (Sorry guys)
  • Seattle Seahawks over Baltimore Ravens
  • Buffalo Bills over New York Giants

In case I don't see you. Have a happy holidays.

The Mondays: What is up with that?

Happy Monday everybody. It's time for another edition of The Mondays, the most superfuntastic edition in the world.

Another crazy Sunday has come and left us. I will now do what I do best. What do I do best?
  • Buffalo Bills defeat Washington Redskins, 17-16- It was an emotional Sunday for the Redskins because it was their first game without Safety Sean Taylor, who died last week. To honor the fallen player, the Redskins lined up in a 10-man formation during the first defensive drive. It was an emotional moment for the Redskins, each week will only get tougher.

Special Note: We will keep the memorial picture of Sean Taylor up on the Oh No Romo blog for the rest of the regular season. We will do so out of respect towards Taylor's family.
  • Seattle Seahawks defeat Philadelphia Eagles, 28-24- The Seahawks look to be back on track and will most likely win the NFC West.
  • Minnesota Vikings destroy Detroit Lions, 42-10- This wasn't even close, the Lions looked awful. One thing is for sure, the Vikings are a new threat in the NFC Wild Card hunt.
  • New York Jets defeat Miami Dolphins, 40-13- The Dolphins are now 0-12, waters that are very rarily charted. The last team to lose their first 12 games was the 2001 Detroit Lions. They would finish the season 2-14.

Only the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only team to go winless in NFL History. That team would go 0-14. No team has ever gone 0-16.

The final four games for the Dolphins work out like this: on the road against the Bills, at home against the Baltimore Ravens, on the road against the New England Patriots and at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Dolphins do have a chance to win all or some of these games. Prediction: The Dolphins will go 2-14.

Ehh, that's all folks

Friday Brief's: Everybody's Working for the Weekend

Happy Friday, everybody.

It is time for those crazy NFL Picks. Last weekend, I went 3-2 and am now 10-5 on the year. I am still over .500, but I need to keep on going.
  • Green Bay Packers over Minnesota Vikings- Brett Favre and his team of youngins are on fire at this point. Do not expect the Vikings to win, unless you are a poor Vikings fan.
  • San Francisco 49ers over Seattle Seahawks- Yes the Niners don't have a great offense, but they're playing at home. It will be close, very close.
  • Indianapolis Colts over Denver Broncos- It's Indy, at home, this is going to be fun fun fun. Still not convinced, let this change your mind.
  • Carolina Panthers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers- David Carr, or Jake Delhomme? I think Delhomme starts and the Panthers win. If Carr starts, I might as well add a loss to the column.
  • Kansas City Chiefs over San Diego Chargers- Hey somebody has to win. This game will be very painful to watch, and not because of Randy Cross.

See ya

The Monday's: Seattle Seahawks

Happy Monday everybody. Let's keep the NFL Preview's going with the final division in the NFC, the Wild Wild West. Today, we go to the Northwest and profile the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks won the NFC West division, last season, going 9-7. The year before then, they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, only to lose to the Steelers. The Seahawks bowed out to the Bears in the divisional round.

The Seahawks had no first round pick in the 2007 draft, so their first pick came in the second round when they drafted CB Josh Wilson out of Maryland.

The Seahawks open at home against Tampa Bay. They will play the Panthers, the Steelers and the Eagles on the road. At home, they will face such notable teams as the Saints, the Bengals and the Ravens.

Time for those Burnin questions (Yearbook Style):
  1. Matt Hasselbeck will: Be the only balding QB to throw for 3,000 yards in 2007
  2. Hasselbeck's sister-in-law (Elizabeth from 'The View') mentionings this season: Four or five
  3. Shaun Alexander will: Run through gaps bigger than the one in his teeth
  4. Alexander will also: Lead the league in rushing (If he stays healthy)
  5. Mike Holmgrem's NFL Moustache Power Ranking: 2nd
  6. The Seahawks defense will: Be ok
  7. Darrell Jackson will: Miss out on 1,000 yard receiving season, again
  8. Kiss song that best describes the team: They don't get one, they have grunge music and that's enough
  9. In 2007, the Seahawks will: Go 9-7, missing the playoffs

See ya Tuesday
